Everyone loves a good before and after. Am I right?
If you're a new homeowner and you don't love the "character" your home came with - don't fret! You can do enhancements that will have a minimal impact on your checkbook. Yes, remodels can add up FAST if you're not careful. But, there are so many options out there for affordable tile, light fixtures, vanity, etc. Sometimes, even a fresh coat of bright paint can make your space seem brand new. Brand new, I tell ya!
So, on to the good stuff!
This home is a midcentury modern home that needed some TLC in most of the spaces. Luckily, this house had great "bones" amazing wood floors + ceilings that we kept and even replicated in other spaces.
The guest bathroom (see below) had dated wallpaper, yellow sink and horrible lighting. It felt more like a cave than an inviting space for your guests to use. As much as I love wallpaper, it had to go. We selected a soft gray paint color, large subway tile (only $1.72 per SQUARE FOOT, people!) new vanity, fixtures and mirror. The space not only feels larger than before, it sparkles and brings a sense of comfort to each guest.
